    I could have sworn the UK produced enough offshore wind power to make up the majority, but apparently not

      One problem is a lot of wind power is generated up north, but a large majority of electricity consumption happens further south and the grid infrastructure isn’t equipped to transmit all that power that distance

      I’m sure it was Simon Clark who talked about this in a video, but I can’t find the exact one at a glance
