Reuters reports that around 100 people made it into the construction site, with some scaling a crane to place a “fuck AI” banner. Protesters also unfurled a “Microsoft powers genocide” banner on the construction site, and chanted “Microsoft has got to go” and “free Palestine.”

I’m a huge fan of this protest, but climbing the boom of a crane without any safety gear is extremely fucking stupid.
Get a safety harness before you do this. They’re not that expensive. Hell, steal one from the site. But this gets people killed, like yourself.
They may be protesting but they are still following European approved health and safety guidelines.🤣

I think those are backpacks. I don’t see anything tight around their hips, the coveralls they wear are all very wide.
