“Ad hominem” is when you try to discredit an argument BY attacking its speaker. Someone saying something about you that you took negatively doesn’t mean they’re trying to attack your argument that way. They might just be changing the subject off of noticing problems with your approach.
You’re jumping into the middle of a conversation where OP delightfully asked if Claude was puppeteering me anally when I asked him if he knew what ethical meant, besides several other bon mots and snide remarks to myself and other posters.
