There’s 12 cops there because they know they’re doing something so abhorrent that if they only had one or two cops with her, they’d likely get mobbed. It’s a cowardice thing.
I mean I’m pretty sure they also think the law is bullshit and they’d rather not be wasting their time with it. However arrests like these are probably the best way to get the law overturned (and reduce their responsibilities and workload…)
