AI and Flock are bringing the union back together.

I like to think that the rich overplayed their hand. Once they saw the orange enter the office they thought all bets were off and AI was ready usher a new big brother age.
What they didn’t account for is that their power grip only worked because of how well they fooled the public, now that there is no pretending anymore, it’s a lot easier for the masses to see things more clearly.
I’m actually a tinge proud of humans for this. They recognize an existential threat, and they’re responding in some way.
Well one is scared of technology. The Same people against windmills and solar panels.
The other recognizes the harm it does to the world.
I guess at least the end goal is the same.
We have a ban? Holy crap Florida did something right? Someone write this down.
It’s so weird that this is the thing. Maybe it’s because it has a physical manifestation one can point out? And it cannot really be hidden?
It wasn’t shooting Americans on the streets and without any repercussions, by masked thugs. It wasn’t ripping away health care. It wasn’t $5+ gasoline. It wasn’t Gaza. It wasn’t killing millions by destroying USAID. It wasn’t tariffs based on who hurt Donald’s feelings the night before. It wasn’t an unnecessary war on Iran.
It’s NIMBY energy, but instead of blocking infrastructure for the public good they’re buildings so big they have weather and so loud they cause health issues. And sometimes poison the water supply apparently just to save a little money
I don’t think it’s that weird that this is where people draw the line
