Haley Stevens’ staff has resigned following the Democratic lawmaker’s decision to jump ship and endorse Republican Mike Rogers for Senate.
Just hours after Rep. Stevens (D-Mich.) officially endorsed Republican Senate nominee Rogers on Sunday, Justin German, Stevens’ chief of staff, said he and many members of his team had resigned.
“As Haley Stevens’ chief of staff for eight years, I speak on behalf of our team in wholeheartedly supporting Abdul El-Sayed for Senate,” German said Sunday in a statement. “This election is too important to sow division or stand on the sidelines. We are shocked and heartbroken by Congresswoman Stevens’ decision to support Mike Rogers.”

Well, the one supporting a Republican over a progressive primary-winner who is not supporting Israel, got kicked out of the party and abandoned by her staff…
Isn’t this actually a good example of “blue no matter who” working in favor of a progressive Candidate not supporting Israel? Isn’t this an example of exactly how you want the democratic party to handle these types of people?
I’m cautiously optimistic
I’m criticizing Stevens. Glad her staff have spines
Then be specific…
Either say her name or her faction: neoliberals
Neoliberals will always prefer a Republican to a progressive. None of that is new, what is “new” is they have not controlled the DNC for close to two years now.
Which is both why the neoliberals are doing this shit, and why everyone else (including their own staff) are comfortable calling them out.
If you care, then be informed and be specific
No, if Hayley won rhe primary with the vote blue no matter who people would vote for one of the two zionazi . People vote for Abdul because he is the good candidate not because blue no matter who
Show me where she was kicked out of the party?
