The Michigan Democratic Party kicked Rep. Haley Stevens out of its ranks Sunday, after she endorsed Michigan’s GOP Senate nominee, Mike Rogers — over Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, who defeated her in the primary.

Is there a clear alternative?
Michigan dodged a Fetterman there.
PA also had basically no recall ability either iirc.
This needs to happen more often. If you support or endorse the fascist party or any part of their fascist platform, you must be excommunicated.
Cool now kick Chuck Schumer out.
if they do, he will write a stern letter, then lower his glasses a bit and scowl.
And then consult the imaginary Republican couple that lives in his head on how mad they are that he can no longer hurt the Dems from the inside on their behalf …
You leave the Baileys out of this!
What makes this all especially delicious is that there was SUPPOSED to be an event today for “Party Unity” with Representative Jim Clyburn (D-SC).
El-Sayed said Stevens shouldn’t be there because she would be “a distraction.”
One of Clyburn’s people issued a statement saying: “Abdul can’t uninvite her because it’s not his event”.
Then she went full on nuts, getting kicked out of the party. She uninvited herself. LOL.
Cool
Hey, I came here to say that!
What a sellout. And for probably a pittance
According to one of her staffers, $10M from AIPAC.

Of course, it’s way to late to replace her on the ballot, so she doesn’t suffer real consequences for two more years. I wish we had a way to recall federal elected officials.
It would be too late to replace her on the ballot if not for the fact that she wasn’t on the ballot to begin with.
I had assumed with a “Rep.” prefix she was running for reelection. Didn’t realized she had tried for the Senate instead this cycle and had already crashed out of the race. Talk about a sore loser.
She’s not on the ballot, she gave up her Congressional seat to run for Senate and lost the primary to El-Sayed.
She’s still a member of Congress, but she’s out when the new Congress is seated in January.
