Michigan Democratic Party chair Curtis Hertel made it crystal clear on Sunday that Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI) was no longer welcome in the state’s Democratic party.
Hertel posted to X after Stevens yanked her support from Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed (D) and gave it to his Republican challenger, “Congresswoman Stevens is not a current member of the Michigan Democratic Party, nor will she be in the future.”
Her values are “I say whatever horrible shit I want, and how dare you give me the slightest pushback for it, now you’ve made me betray everything i claimed to stand for and support the person whose party literally wants to strip my gender of its personhood…That’ll show you!"”
That and the 30+ million dollars that she took.
