Michigan Democratic Party chair Curtis Hertel made it crystal clear on Sunday that Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI) was no longer welcome in the state’s Democratic party.
Hertel posted to X after Stevens yanked her support from Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed (D) and gave it to his Republican challenger, “Congresswoman Stevens is not a current member of the Michigan Democratic Party, nor will she be in the future.”
Because she said to vote for the Republican over the guy that won her party’s primary? I’d love to hear your explanation.
