Not all of them. Some are indebted to the smugglers who are lurking and waiting time to demand the “successful” migrants to pay them back.
Also, remember that only a minority of would-be refugees are smuggled into the country. Most of them enter on visas or other legal entries, then apply for refuge, which is what the UK government currently say to do because there are no legal routes to apply for refuge when not already in the UK.
Your assertion that holding a passport from a non-war-zone country makes a claim false is simply false and you can realise this by considering two examples: first, someone from a former war zone who aided the British Army; secondly, someone from a minority the UK recognises as persecuted by their government, such as a Bahá’i in Iran even when it wasn’t at war.
Can you imagine staying in a hostel for literally months? With children?
Yes, i can. I’ve done it, and had to pay. Why can’t they?
Why can’t the people who have nothing pay for a hotel?
They have the funds to pay a people smuggler in the first place.

What is it that you think a “refugee” actually is?
Most that come to the UK aren’t genuine. Hence, they should pay for a hostel stay, just like everyone else.
I’m sure you wouldn’t make a claim like that without a legitimate source
Easy to do. If their passports are from non war zone countries, then the claim is false.
If it’s easy to do, please cite your source.

Cool. So let’s see the source.
