Laws are threats of violence established by the dominant socioeconomic class of any given nation. Conservatism demands that there is a protected class for whom the law protects, and a subjugated class for whom the law is used to opress. Every cycle, who qualifies as the protected class shrinks, and who is subjugated grows.
Considering they have ranked choice voting the whole problem is pretty moot. Vote one rank 1 and the other rank 2. Not that even that is the issue because you’d have to practically not look at the ballot at all to accidentally vote wrong considering the incumbent is explicitly labelled the incumbent.
