I have a Möve piqué bathrobe that I bought a while ago. It’s very comfortable and seems sturdy enough, although I only wear it occasionally, so I can’t really tell. My main criteria in buying it were an Ökotex certification and it being Made in Europe (both apply), and their production seems okay in terms of sustainability but nothing to write home about either.

I think Frette (based in Italy 🇮🇹, made in Portugal 🇵🇹), Möve (made in Germany 🇩🇪), and Tekla (based in Denmark 🇩🇰, made in Portugal 🇵🇹) are good, but I’ve only looked at their towels. Lots of people online seem to like their bathrobes too though.

A lot of good European fabric stuff is made in Portugal 🇵🇹, so you could look for that too :D
