Speed bumps are a bad way to handle such issues. Just narrow the lanes and put dividers between lanes and then smaller vehicles are rewarded instead of larger. Granted, just throwing a speed bump every 1/4 mile is quicker and has the lower upfront cost. L
That’s pretty much what I write to the local council every time it happens. Speed humps disproportionately punishes smaller vehicles, and it should go the other way.
