I have to say, after listening to Robby Soave shill for fascists while strenuously pretending to be a smooth free-thinking libertarian and not a member of the cult, I’ve come to the same conclusion as you.
I guess that’s his job - being the right-leaning voice on The Hill - but it’s honestly painful to watch him each time he opens his mouth to offer a conservative-friendly counterpoint while pretending he’s not one of them.
