Let’s make him veto an onslaught of bills that aim to expose the Epstein client list, and force the DOJ to investigate in such a manner that congress is apprised of their progress. Make him defend vetoing investigating, prosecuting, and convicting billionaire pedophiles and sex traffickers. Make him defend it all. This should be day one. Have legislation at the ready to introduce on day one to force him to defend pedophilia.
Make a concerted, focused effort on this. Healthcare, affordability are very important, but can wait to be grandstanded. Control the messaging, the narrative, make it dominate the new cycle until there is enough support to overcome the veto. It can be done. But it will take courage of conviction, which I know is asking a LOT of establishment dems.

I love the Democratic party. The strongest position we have in it is “let’s make the Republicans look bad”. Like, holy fuck, talk about how you’re going to override the veto, talk about how you’re going to first pressure Republicans in purple seats to side with you on universally hated things like datacenters; to show that a 2/3rds vote is possible with pressure from the population.
Talk about how you ARE going to pass Medicare for all by pressuring Republicans about to be purged from office in 2028 to “walk out” and not be present for the veto override voting. (The 2/3rds is based on members that are present, not actual house or Senate capacity).
