i also use yandex if i need to find something google doesnt find. Had good results with some pirated jav. I have no good thoughts about russia but i like to find stuff on search-engines.
Think of all the web services who still pays money to USA or Israel. If you want to moralize, at least don’t use a double standard of morality for the people you hate vs the people you venerate.

The Russia thing is that they pay Yandex to use their results in addition to the other engines they use.
