Trump will escalate the war with Iran sometime between the election and the seating of the new Congress. Then they will call any push against them an attack on the troops.
Trump cannot help but escalate at this point because he is in an escalation trap with Iran and his rapidly falling support pushes him to be more extreme.
It’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
I agree. No matter what happens during the election it will be an absolute shit show.
Trump may do exactly what you describe but I think the people who are swing voters or were somehow to apathetic to vote in 2024 will see through that.
I’m more concerned about a false flag attack on civilians. I don’t think it benefits Iran to attack us directly but I’m not sure most people would accept that it wasn’t them if something happens. And with most (if not all) major news outlets under conservative control the narrative will be easier to manage.
