There’s polish Goodram for the ssd and ram, German Recable and Swedish Supra for the cables and Latvian Mikrotik and German Fritz for the router. German CachyOS for the OS, Belgian Servo for browsing and polish GOG for the games.
How about:
- Desktop Tower
- Power supply
- Motherboard
- Thermal Paste
- Monitor
- Keyboard
- Mouse
- Headphone
- Microphone
- Cooling
Desktop Tower
- Fractal Design is my favorite anyways
- bequiet is German
Power supply
- bequiet
Motherboard
- hard to say since all I know are from Taiwan or China
Thermal Paste
- Thermal Grizzly is already a top tiered thermal paste
- Noctua NT-H2 is also very good
Monitor
- LC Power
Keyboard
- Cherry obviously
- SteelSeries
Mouse
- Cherry as well
- SteelSeries
Headphone
- Sennheiser
- beyerdynamic
- SteelSeries
Microphone
- Sennheiser
- SteelSeries
Cooling
- Noctua
- Bequiet
starlabs.systems are based in the UK and do laptops/tablets and mini PCs. They are slightly unique in that they support linux as a primary OS and provide coreboot firmware for most of the products. I have a mini PC and it’s good for older games (Intel CPU/GPU) things like PS1/2 games and xbox games.
Noctua is an Austrian company making excellent coolers/fans and thermal paste.
Cooling: Noctua is Austrian
Headphone & Microphone: SennheiserAlso, Jabra which is from Denmark if I’m not mistaken (for headsets and microphones). And we have Meze as well from Romania
Steelseries is Danish, for keyboards, mice, headsets, and other assorted peripherals.

STmicroelectronics and Infineon are the only one I can think of. I use STm boards for embedded projects

I love Fractal Design cases. I’ve not tried their other products but they also make
- Chairs
- Headsets
- Fans
- Water Cooling
- Power Supplies
Not sure where any of these are actually manufactured however.
Desktop cases, you have be quiet! 🇩🇪, Fractal Design 🇸🇪, and a few others too (not made in Europe as far as I understand)
Power supply, you have be quiet! and Fractal (again, not made in Europe I think)
Dunno about motherboard
Arctic 🇩🇪 produces thermal paste, as well as liquid coolers and fans, but not made in Eurppe. Noctua 🇦🇹 is higher quality for coolers, but don’t think they make stuff in Europe either
Dunno about monitors, keyboards (build a custom one and support local suppliers maybe?), and mice.
Sennheiser 🇩🇪 makes awesome wired headphones, the HD 550 are pretty good value I think. They also produce lots of great microphones (the Profile is a USB one). Fairphone 🇳🇱 are the gold standard for wireless audio, replaceable battery and easily repairable parts! The Fairbuds 2 look awesome and the (second gen) Fairbuds XL are also very good. Rode is Aussie 🇦🇺 but they also produce good mics.
edit: EGG (End Game Gear) is based in Germany 🇩🇪 and they make esport-centric mice.
Dunno about monitors, keyboards (build a custom one and support local suppliers maybe?), and mice
Logitech is European enough (swiss)
you could add cherry (for mice and keyboards) to the list… german company… and until a couple of years ago they even produced stuff in germany
Logitech is alright for some stuff, but it’s random chance whether you get e-waste that breaks in the next couple years or something that lasts a decade.
Actually, just thought of one, if you want wired mice, End Game Gear (EGG for short) is good, they are based in Germany 🇩🇪, they do wireless mice too but dunno about the quality of those. Like most electronics, not made in Europe I think.
Custom keyboards are your best bet if you want to support local business.
As for monitors, no European brands I think (Phillips has been Chinese owned for a while, and they never produced outstanding monitors anyways), plus all the panels usually come from the likes of Samsung or LG anyways.
@Sunshine There’s also Logitech for mice, keyboard and headphones
Logitech is pretty anti consumer though.
How? Honest question.
I personally am a happy customer, as I have 4 of their mid-range gaming mice (mx510, mx518, G502, G500) bought in years between 2003 and 2021, and they’re all still working.
Never touched their software since moving to Linux in late 2006 though, so I guess maybe that’s bad?
That’s their issue why they are (were) considering the Forever Mouse as a subscription. And second their wireless keyboards have batteries that are not user /non destrucive serviceable.
Some of their wireless keyboards. I have a K380 that I use sometimes, and that one has AAA.
But I also never really saw the point of a wireless keyboard…
But yeah, no mouse as a service for me. I already have the Forever Mouse, it’s the MX518 😅
so basically the answer is no, unless you want a tricked out desk and an empty pc case.
