They’re gonna IPO, get a shortcut into the Indexs so that Index Funds have to spend money (your retirement money) buying tons of stock at the near-IPO price, turning fake future profits into actual real US Dollars that the company can use to cash out executives and owners before the company explodes taking the economy with it. Elon already did this with SpaceX minus the economy exploding (so far).

I would not be invested in an index tracking asset which will include the tech or hardware companies involved in the AI supply chain.

… not counting the $1.5 trillion debt the “big” AI players are hiding in subsidiaries

And this company, which has lost more money than most companies in the history of the world, would like an IPO evaluation of $2 trillion

IPO doesn’t really cover operational costs either unless you let the staff who just got rich buy stock back

    Dario in 3… 2…

Scene from Pirates of the Caribbean where Jack Sparrow steps onto a dock off of a sinking ship.

I think they were only ever trying to IPO so they could use a gazillion bagholders as their exit liquidity.

Clickbait, most of the money never actually existed, but it’s value changed on paper and companies have to disclose it anyway.

Roughly $72 billion of the loss came from accounting charges tied to changes in the value of convertible notes and other financial instruments Anthropic used to raise money.

If you lose $80,000, that’s your problem. If you lose $80,000,000,000, that’s everyone else’s problem.
