Makes you realize getting around by car has never been the most efficient form of travel no matter the width of a lane or roadway.
Congestion is always a thing caused by cars themselves.
I ingested LD50 Pb just looking at this picture
At least they looked cooler back then.
look, cars with actual colors. And, a Renault Dauphine. They would all rust away in 5 years.
Ha. What a hilariously outdated concept of sitting in “traffic” in a car that burns mined byproduct for energy.
Good thing we realized DECADES ago that designing life around cars and roads was wildly inefficient and against human health and growth; but instead, we invested in great city planning and public transportation.
Could you IMAGINE this picture from over half a century ago still representing problems we face in modern life? 🫠🫠🫠
Depending on which country you are from this comment works sarcastically or sincerely.
well we aren’t adding lead to the gasoline anymore, what more do you want?
I don’t know, man. Looks a little lightweight for Toronto traffic.
Also, back before unleaded gas and modem emissions… Engines had to run a touch rich. Can you imagine the smell?!
