How is that different from here? We have literal concentration camps and brownshirts in the streets. We’re blowing up fishing boats and school children. At least they don’t have a measles pandemic and kids being shot up in school.

But we aren’t at “international organizations show election results are fabricated by the ruling party” levels of corruption yet and the GOP isn’t confident that they can get away with imprisoning their political rivals. They’re still doing it through veiled ways, like poking holes in Ilhan Omar’s citizen status.
Also, you’re really hung up on civilian gun violence but they are actively involved with a war on their border that makes them susceptible to military gun violence.
