It would if there was a judicial system the went both ways. That’s not the case. Unless you’re already rich or in power you’re not gonna make it.
I bought ballistic goggles for this reason. I’m not generally a go to a protest guy anymore (I know), but I wanted to be prepared for when the time comes.
Just to clarify the headline: he went to a No Kings protest to document the government’s response to the protest and was hit in the eye by an ICE projectile. This was state violence against a citizen, not protestors attacking a counter-protestor or agitator.
