I live in a small town in a deeply gerrymandered red state. . A employee owned multigenerational manufacturing plant is going out of business at the end of the year because of this.
They had a contract to build frames for solar panels, the money was slashed by Doge, the contracts fell through and now the local plant is closing laying off 300 people.
