Democratic leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives have condemned a raid on Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home as “deeply disturbing” and accused the Trump administration of a “rogue abuse of power” just weeks ahead of November’s midterm elections.
Let’s see if they do anything besides strong words and maybe some paddles.
Imagine a political party that deposes and defames a former federal special counsel by condemning subpoenas for republican members of congress toll records and then crickets* when a democratic congresswoman’s home is invaded and searched. All while saying the former was partisan tactics due to the proximity of charges filed to the elections but again, not a peep about the latter.
