He made it super emotional and clear that just Hogg coming out and saying those things, being very critical of the loss, was already ruining his tenure, so he arranged to use the full power and funding of his new office against amother duly elected member.
Rather than continue that kind of waste and understanding how unpopular his platform still was in the mainstream DNC, Hogg chose to bow out. Props to him for the decision. After Ken Martin has been humiliated over and over again.

I mean he shoulda dropped out so much earlier, but Dems are gonna KILL in the midterms despite the DNC, not because of it. My point is Martin is a terrible leader who makes bad, emotional decisions. His first bad, emotional decision was attempting to oust Hogg. Thankfully Hogg bowed out and didn’t let Martin waste DNC money trying to do it.
Much like post covid, people will be crawling through glass to vote against Trump in the next 2 elections. Hopefully the DNC and Dems won’t take it as the last time people ever vote for Republicans, like when we elected Biden.
