The administration of lemmy.ml routinely abuses its rule 1 anti-bigotry policy to conduct political censorship, deleting documented facts regarding the ukraine invasion, holodomor, and xinjiang abuses under false pretexts of imperialist propaganda, misinformation, and nazism while leaving pro-Kremlin talking points untouched.

Verifiable public moderation logs prove this systemic shielding of state propaganda, down to moderators inverting standard geopolitical context, such as noting that fringe extremist units do not make an entire democratic nation fascist, to ban dissenters under the explicit excuse of being a Nazi.

    The US ground invasion started after the Soviets won the war against Nazi Germany and the Soviets were on a push to take over all of Europe. The US swooped in from the back and claimed half the spoils of war while contributing far less.

    Lend Lease was great for the US as well they could give weapons to others and have their troops die while no American troop was in danger. Sure it was a positive thing but the US didn’t do it out of the goodness of their hearts.

    30 million Soviets died in WW2. Less than half a million Americans. The US contribution was nowhere near the Soviets.

      Goddamn you dumbasses will huff the fuck out of your bullshit won’t you.

      Soviets didn’t make it back to Poland until 44 and the US had been well into the war and fighting in Europe and Pacific theater for years.

      The Soviets also lost so many because they just threw bodies at the nazis. Same shit they’re doing in Ukraine.

      How many people died makes no difference on how they helped in defeating the nazis, they sided with for 2 years hoping to split up Europe with them.
