Nvidia, voidlinux, sddm.

It doesn’t get past plymouth (I can still get to the console with ctrl alt functionthing ofc)

I’ve tried setting the nvidia-drm.modeset=1 (i did xbps-reconfigure -fa after that) in console thing in /etc/default/grub. I’ve enabled elogind as a service. I obviously did

/etc/sddm.conf.d/rootless-x11.conf
[General]
DisplayServer=x11-user

sddm doesn’t work after that until i change x11-user for x11. I also did

/etc/X11/Xwrapper.config
needs_root_rights = no
allowed_users=anybody

But that one doesn’t really seem to change much. I also removed the execs from some part of the xinit ig.

    I’m feel you’re jumping right into the problem from some tutorial or not-so-common knowledge. We do not have that context.

    Is “x11-user” defined anywhere? sddm must know what to do with that setting.

      Eh, I mean I did look at some tutorial but also some forums and at the archwiki for xorg, Idk if I looked at the one for sddm but it doesn’t say anything different from what I saw, I kinda looked into the gentoo wiki for rootless xorg too or whatever but that didn’t help much.

      I am not expecting you to 100% know everything and help it’s like well maybe someone might know what’s wrong. idk.
