They claim Jesus as their savior and greatest teacher but look everywhere but Jesus’s sermons for justifications for their beliefs. It’s so blatantly hypocritical.
I’m an atheist, but in cases like these I hope that they are right and get re-routed to hell for being a hypocrite and asshole.

I’m an atheist too. I grew up in religion, but that hypocrisy is not something I could ignore.
Some churches have actually been asked to stop giving Jesus’ sermons, for fear that they are woke.
I bet a few of them could get onboard with stoning unruly children. (Mark 7. The law Jesus cited and accused the Pharisees of not following is about stoning children who talk back to their parents.)
