Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) is facing accusations he tried to launch a conspiracy tying former special counsel Jack Smith to others who prosecuted President Trump — a line of questioning that unwound when the senator apparently confused two basketball teams.

No worries, it’s an easy mistake to make. Youtubers have been swearing up and down he’d see consequences for a decade now. No no, not political consequences. He’s clearly turning into a boated glowing ghoul. But I suspect before he goes feral, he’ll be ripped to pieces by mirelurks.
