My dad had a heart attack while driving and hit a tree. He managed to slow down and get off the road before he passed out, so he wasn’t badly injured and didn’t hurt anyone else, and went on to live another 12 years.

It was not coincidental that he smoked three packs of Marlboros a day and had heart and lung trouble.
