A few months ago I had the honor to partner with @pedestriandignity to submit a few solarpunk images for the zine! I hiiiiighly recommend checking it out. I've learned a lot from this account and how much our current infrastructure needs to decenter cars and prioritize pedestrian mobility. How cars and the car-centric system need to be held accountable for the deaths of our people. How other places are changing for the better, and there are blueprints for changing our world too. #PedestrianDignity #MobilityJustice #Walkability #Accessibility #PublicHealth"

In the final image, the crosswalk is going straight into a tree planter. Not very wheelchair/pram accessible.
It’s a giant crosswalk… It’s at least twice the size of the planter.
Half the space at the end of the crosswalk is the planter, and another quarter is taken up by the corner. The ramp to get up the curb is only a quarter the size of the crosswalk. That could be too narrow for some wheelchairs.
The crosswalk should have been painted to exit in between the trees
