    Electrification of personal vehicles isn’t far enough, and won’t make the price of gas irrelevant. For that to happen we would also need:

    • improvements in other areas of infrastructure such as public transit
    • improving city layouts to take advantage of the former
    • the use of renewables to generate the electricity.
