As ever, caveats apply from such a small sample. However, this is a highly encouraging demonstration of this new approach.
Great idea - the liver is kind of like the body’s chemist/factory so targeted therapies that leverage its numerous functions (I forget how many functions the liver has like over 500) to produce endogenous medications is brilliant
How long does the liver continue to produce these? And what are the consequences of living with these elevated over that time period?
Obviously, the important thing is to clear the leukemia, but I would be interested to know what side effects there are.
The patients start aging in reverse. Probably.
