Yeah I get bios updates through fedora on my framework
ubuntu ships it by default iirc. it’s pretty mainstream alright.
Fedora also does iirc? I remember seeing “firmware update” on gnome software
It does, but anecdotally it doesn’t seem super reliable. Did a full system update without knowing it was a thing and only found out when it went into BIOS and immediately said “update failed”. Luckily seemed like just a checksum or some other sanity check failing, but I’m guessing I got the wrong binary for my hardware.
