Noncitizen voting is extremely rare. All states are required to conduct voter roll list maintenance under federal law, and states already have processes to identify any noncitizens who do accidentally make it onto the voter rolls.
There’s a provision in the law where they can’t do any mass purges within 90 days of an election. So this ruling is limited to “individualized queries” for the rest of the 2026 cycle. But you can expect it to be a much bigger deal in the 2028 cycle if it doesn’t get overturned.
(This is a situation where Congress has the power to change the law. Hint, hint.)

Right, so call them out when they do it. It’s easy to name Trump so that he takes the fall (he’s not up for election) and let the others in the conspiracy- get off the hook. But it’s really those secretaries of state or election boards who would be to blame, not Trump when it actually happens.

And if you live in Texas, don’t rely on DPS to process your voter registration through the driver license system. File an application directly with your county registrar.

Thats my favorite part about the US bad talk, its a great distraction from watching the rightwing take overs pop up in everyones backyard. Like its a global coordinated effort or something. Like maybe the US sliding into fascism is just the first step to the free world following.

Most people have probably heard of divide and conquer, but I’m guessing most don’t know anything about narcissistic triangulation, which is what’s going on.
For bullet two, one of the best things you can do is show up to vote, and be loud if / when your rights are denied. Contact local news, tell the ACLU about your case, put it on Facebook + all social media, tell your friends at work, church, wherever about it. The legitimacy of election interference claims are much harder to deny if it doesn’t all come from the top.
