It’s an impressive list of articles, but I’d rather have Congress focusing on the 14Amendment/Section 3, than impeachment, because it casts a much wider net, one that is far more destructive to MAGA.
If we had only applied the 14th Amendment, Section 3, we could have kicked out the entire MAGA movement after Jan 6:
“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may, by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.”
That means Trump, for sure, became ineligible for office after Jan 6, but so did EVERY MAGA who repeated the Big Lie that Biden had stolen the 2020 election. Supporting the Big Lie encouraged confused and gullible Citizens to also support the Big Lie, and participate in the Jan 6 Insurrection, and therefore they are also ineligible to serve. That means every MAGA in office needs to lose their office.
All those losers that refuse to say that Biden won the 2020 election when they’re testifying in front of Congress? Refusing to acknowledge Biden’s 2020 won is a violation of 14A/S3, and instantly renders them ineligible to hold office.
