I can’t tell if this is cope on my part or a possible silver lining to the utter shitshow you just mentioned (plus so much more) when complete control of all 3 houses of government belong to the GOP.
Will this galvanize the US votes for the next 20 years to keep the GOP out of control when all the negative consequences really show in the years ahead? Will any GOP backpedaling fall flat because they had total control and this is what they did with it? I’d like to think so, but the last 15 years of my fellow American voters have been a disappointment.
Most voters are dumb or uninformed. Most places will get mainstream dems and when the clusterfuck isn’t unfucked in either one or two cycles the GOPedos will be back in power

I could see Democrats maybe taking both houses and the presidency and holding it for two years. No more than that.
