    Why does Farage try to portray himself as a man of the people, when in reality he’s a very privileged public schoolboy who puts his own enrichment ahead of the interests of Brits

      Because it allows him to successfully con truly stupid people and trick them into giving him more money. For people like Farage the money isn’t even the point, he just likes to see the line go up, the fact that he doesn’t need more money is irrelevant.
