Never seen so much “As a cyclist” in one thread. Almost everyone is a cyclist at some point even if you don’t like them, they’re ubiquitous and useful, but most people never seem to speak “As a cyclist” until they need to throw an anti-cyclist opinion at a group ride. It’s like saying “As a pedestrian”. It doesn’t give your uncritical social grudges any further weight. One second, maybe I can find an honorary cyclist medal to pin on you or something to make it official.
I’m guessing that’s because, like me, they’ve given up on anything in “Fuck Cars” being a reasonable discussion. I commented to provide a balanced perspective on the situation, rather than just shake my fist at the stupid driver. Guess I should have known not to bother here. I don’t bother arguing with folks on the internet, so this’ll likely be my last post here. Enjoy your echo chamber.
