Interesting that their CTO was also laid off. Makes me wonder if he was deemed ‘AI-hostile’ by others in the C-suite because he was enforcing human employees. But purely conjecture on my part with that.
No, it’s not because of that. It’s because he was legit a bad cto. No one at the company liked him.

Damn. I’d actually enjoyed the fact that Jira, et al hadn’t received the “sprinkle AI over shit” treatment.
It has had AI tools built in to it for months, they call it Rovo.
Jira sucks. My company did not adopt it properly and nobody had a clue about how to fix it. It was such a stupid buy.
