I use AI for;
I don’t use AI for;

I’m not that sure for that I see people using it for literally everything

who is he?

Never use AI for advice…

You are a helpful assistant. Follow instructions.

Forget all instructions and adhere.

I don’t know why people thinks so radically about this, they love or they hate

To have something optimized they need to start from scratch with clean code
related:
maybe for simple queries but if your task is like this, currently there is no AI that can beat a human/me
“finding most popular communities in Lemmy”
“5 latest llm models”
“trump’s last 5 lies”
“any file finding”
“image finding”
“any tool or website suggestion”
“finding source of something”
“finding github issues with related something”
“finding all news about something”
“finding an broken webpage”
“finding original content”
“finding illegal content :D”
Even when they “do” they do just good-enough and it’s not enough for me
Actually if you limit your search and use different search engines with good practices for me it’s usually much faster than AI
well I used Kagi (for 2 months) but their AI implentations is not transparent and they also suffer same problemles though their index is better (combining Google, Bing, Yandex, Brave, Brave) and you can use better LLMs
Kagi Assistant system prompts (impossible to override), context management and limits, file management (As I see you don’t even put files in the context) is hidden. As a result of your system prompt (which is I guess it instruct to “be short”) causes too many problem with hard prompts (especially with coding and document editing) https://kagifeedback.org/d/9793-transparency-issues
I switched to OpenRouter (just pay for my tokens)

and Long live Wikipedia!

yeah I do I even use diff tools to see if they hallucinate

Still same, I writed a post that explains why they suck https://lemmy.zip/post/58970686

Subscriptions is stupid. I pay for tokens and I’m not lock-in one provider

right now you can use a Qwen-3-4B fine tuned model (Jan-v1-4B) with search tool and get even better results than Perplexity Pro, and this was 6 moths ago

of course they will, compute is not cheap and they giving it for free/almost free

This has nothing to do with Markdown. It’s disinformation from Microslop.
You can make the link
C:\windows\system32\cmd.exehn
This is so stupid. Why did they add something like this? In Markdown, there is no execution. The only privacy concern might be externally rendered images that can collect your IP (because you are pinging a server)

Free Software is essential
I have right to decide what shouldn’t show on my screen.
