The government’s reaction to the Trump regime reeks of weaponized incompetence.
I wouldn’t even call them authoritarians.
They don’t want to live in an authoritarian state.
They want everyone who disagrees with them or doesn’t LOOK LIKE them to live in an authoritarian state.
They only want to live in modern America technologically and 1950s America culturally.
Except they really don’t even want that, because most “conservative” women would not survive 6 months living as a 1950s American housewife.
It sounds nice to be taken care of, but they were also treated like property and/or house pets. They had no money of their own and no bank accounts. If you wanted something and you weren’t a famous actress or something — A man had to buy it for you.
It was legal in the United States to deny someone a job or a bank account, simply because they were a woman, until 1974.
Star Wars came out in 1974… 5 months earlier.
It’s crazy to me think about stuff like that. It kind of makes sense why there’s so much god damn push back every time we tell people to stop being assholes… apparently not being assholes is pretty recent from a human history perspective.
There’s a lot of data that shows (in my opinion) he stole it in 2024.
Ken Paxton already helped him steal Texas in 2020 by stopping 2.4 million mail in votes from happening in a blue county, which would have easily swung the whole state blue.
Also there’s the false elector scheme, which was straight up treason and should have gotten trump executed by the state in my opinion, let alone the January 6th coup attempt, and the ties to Russia, and the proven Russian interference, and the fact Israel has compromising materials on Trump and used them to pressure him to drag all of America into Israel’s “final solution” war plan… and just… everything else.
It’s pretty obvious that he had a hand in the Epstein operation, given the number of times his name is mentioned in them, among other things. Perhaps he used his pageants and his connections to disappear girls who came from poorer families or who had parents Trump didn’t know or care about or like.
Imagine being best friends with Mr. Child Rape himself for over 10 years, while owning beauty pageants for underage girls, and going around bragging about how you use your power to violate their privacy while they’re nude…
And then 70 million people vote for you to be president because your style of bullying other candidates amused them.
The problem with masculinity is that its identity is tied up with competence and pride. Part of “being masculine” is discerning threats to your status and ego, and using physical imposition and verbal bravado to defend them when necessary.
Discerning threats to your status and your ego reliably… in a way that most people agree with, is very very difficult for young boys who haven’t done a lot of that.
Young boys will discern threats over-zealously thinking everyone’s out to get them, and defend their ego/status over-enthusiastically thinking everyone will be impressed and/or scared.
Every joke becomes a threat in the mind of a teenager with a brain flooded by testosterone for the first time ever, at 2 - 3x higher levels than men done with puberty.
Additionally we now have myriads of douchebags on screen sitting in front of mics (metaphorically) jerking young men off for behaving like insecure inexperienced children, telling them tantrums and law breaking violence are “how men operate”.
Boys need to learn how to understand their emotions and how their actions make them look to others, and then they usually grow up to be great men if they can learn those things well.
They need to learn that fear and envy are toxic clouds, not yard sticks.
