Mainly because there is evidence that the first people that were hired were more like professional decorators and architects for ballrooms, then they were all fired and the people that are working on it now are specialized in building data centers… Also, if you do measurements they are digging out or remodeling a large infrastructure underneath the ballroom… Lastly, a data center specifically for White House use would be extremely beneficial in a time when AI is the new thing along with other reasons! They can create their own enclosed LLM that will protect the users from vulnerabilities and use it for many other things like killing brown people! You know how the Republicans and even the Democrats absolutely love to kill brown people!!! This data center will help them do that.

Final edit: By the way, even though I don’t support Donald Trump in any way, shape, or form, this is actually a good move from a data security standpoint! I believe that Trump didn’t have anything to do with this and regardless of if there was a Democrat or a republican in the office right now, there’d be the same outcome just handled differently. Either way there’d be a secret data center at the end of the project. Lastly, “why there?”. Because it’s the most secure location in the United States that requires high level access. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if this data center is specifically for his cronies since he’s a crook!
